20th Century Fox Sets Mystery Dates For 6 New Marvel Films

Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) reacts to Colossus’ (voiced by Stefan Kapicic) threats.

If you thought that 20th Century Fox would slow down it’s development of Marvel themed Movies now Spider-Man is in the capable hands of the MCU, you were dead wrong. Exhibitor Relation just announced that the studio has set aside six new dates between 2019 and 2021 for currently untitled Marvel films.

With New MutantsDeadpool 2, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix already on the slate for Fox in 2018 , there is a ton of speculation as to what these next six films could be. Although the two most likely candidates for the 2019 slots are new Gambit and X-Force movies.

While the remaining dates in 2020 and 2021 will probably end up being sequels to Deadpool, X-Men, New Mutants etc., it is possible that we could see X-23 get her first solo movie after the success of LOGAN.

Another possibility is yet another Fantastic Four reboot. Which would not be a welcomed decision by most fans after several bad takes on the characters. Many Marvel fans are hoping to see the Fantastic Four, along with Silver Surfer, go the way of Spider-Man and revert to the MCU. But, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
