Sony Releases First Official Bloodshot Trailer

Sony released a first look trailer for it’s upcoming comic book movie, Bloodshot, and it’s a bit spoiler-ish. It appears that we get a beat for nearly all three acts of the movie, so if you’d prefer to wait to see it on the big screen, consider this your warning.

Based on the popular Valiant comic book series, Bloodshot is a story about a former soldier who’s memories have been manipulated by a tech corporation at the same time his blood was infused with nanites that granted him powers of regeneration and meta-morphing. He is constantly searching to discover his true identity and get vengeance on those who did this to him.

The movie adaptation stars Vin Diesel (The Fast & The Furious franchise) Guy Pearce (The Hurt Locker), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island), and Talulah Riley (Westworld).  Bloodshot was written by Academy Award-nominee Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Kick Ass 2) and directed by Dave Wilson (Love Death + Robots). The film reunites Diesel with his The Fast & The Furious producer Neal Moritz, who is producing alongside Toby Jaffe for Original Film, and Dinesh Shamdasani for Hivemind. Bloodshot hits theaters worldwide on February 21st, 2020.
