Zoe Kravitz has reportedly joined Robert Pattinson’s The Batman movie. Deadline reports the actress will play the role of Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) opposite Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne (aka Batman).
The Batman director Matt Reeves seemingly confirmed the news on Monday by sharing a gif of the actress on his Twitter.

Kravitz is a familiar face in geek culture. She’s been in everything from Mad Max Fury Road to the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Kravitz also voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie, so she should have no problem landing on her feet in the live-action role.
Details beyond that are unknown, but the cast is slowly taking shape ahead of The Batman’s release on June 25, 2021. In addition to Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, The Batman will reportedly feature Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Jonah Hill in an undisclosed role.
The Batman could feature as many as six villains from Batman’s Rogues Gallery, so expect many more casting announcements in the coming weeks and months.
